ROOF RACKS FOR THE 250 SERIES PRADO
USE THE NEW PRADO ROOF FROM DELIVERY
The 250 Series Prado is the most capable Prado Toyota has built. The new TNGA-F platform shares architecture with the 300 Series and Tundra, and the result is a wagon ready for serious touring from the showroom. The factory roof is a clean flat surface that supports a properly engineered aftermarket platform. For 250 owners who have already started the touring build plan, fitting a roof rack from day one is the right call because most of the carrying setup downstream (awning, tent, jerry cans, recovery tracks) attaches to the rack rather than to the vehicle directly.
SLIMLINE II AND SLIMSPORT KITS
The roof racks in this collection use Front Runner Slimline II and Slimsport platforms sized specifically for the new 250 Prado roof. Slimline II offers the clean low-profile platform for awnings, tents, and accessories with the universal Front Runner mount pattern. Slimsport adds integrated lightbar mounting for owners building serious touring lighting. Construction is aluminium for fuel economy preservation on a wagon that already needs to carry significant load. Mounting uses factory roof rail attachment points with no drilling into the new roof skin.
SUITS 250 PRADO FROM 2024 ONWARDS
This collection covers roof racks specifically for the 250 Series Prado from its 2024 Australian launch. The new TNGA-F roof dimensions are different to the earlier 150 Prado, so racks designed for the 150 do not fit the 250. Each listing confirms exact body style, year range, and trim level before you order. The 2.8L diesel and hybrid variants share the same roof, so the same rack fits both. As Toyota releases more 250 variants the rack range grows to cover them. Pair with awning brackets and tent mounts depending on the build direction.
